Details Inpatient Rehabilitation setting with floating to outpatient as needed Primary assignment on the inpatient rehab unit Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Caseload of 8-10 patients per 8-hour day Solo OT coverage required during weekends Requirements Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida or compact license required if applicable Minimum 3 years of experience preferred Competency/experience in acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke required BLS certification via AHA required Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review Additional Information Perform clinical evaluations and establish individualized treatment programs Provide a wide variety of treatment procedures for patients with diverse disabilities, injuries, and diseases to maximize functional outcomes Smoke-free facility Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate Prior employees must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-749694.
