This permanent position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines. You will be working on a variety of exciting projects, creating precision components with tight tolerances for a range of industries. Responsibilities: Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts. Interpret complex blueprints, engineering plans, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to plan machining activities. Perform precision machining operations, including grinding, to meet tight tolerances. Use precision measurement tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Select and set up the appropriate tooling for each job, and make adjustments as necessary. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality. Perform regular maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and reduce setup times. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in operating and programming 5-axis CNC machines. Strong knowledge of precision machining, grinding, and other manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering plans. Proficient in using precision measurement tools. Excellent understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Experience with tooling setup and adjustment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certification in CNC machining or related field preferred. Interested in hearing more?
