Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certified Welder in Erie, PA! In this role you will be responsible for the setup and operation of welding equipment to repair or fabricate steel components. Candidates who have experience in the field and are looking to continue their welding career are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Perform production welding, maintenance welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Operate, maintain, and conduct daily monitoring of heat-treating furnaces.
• Utilize skills in blueprint reading, welding, fabrication, measuring, fitting, and assembly.
• Engage in structural welding, tack welding, and work with structural steel and stainless steel.
• Handle tools such as hand tools and tape measures efficiently.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of welding experience is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret a blueprint and schematic
• Strong job tenure

*Employees will have the ability to pick up consistent overtime hours on a weekly basis. Overtime is paid after 10 hours worked in a day or after 40 hours worked in a week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Erie, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $23.54/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Erie,PA.
