ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Clint Gates State Farm is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team in a part-time role. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a flexible work schedule while gaining experience in customer service, insurance, and office operations.

No insurance license is required to begin. We are looking for someone who communicates well, pays attention to details, follows through on responsibilities, and enjoys helping people. The starting position will focus on customer support and administrative tasks appropriate for an unlicensed team member.

For someone who proves to be a strong fit, there will be opportunities to obtain an insurance license, take on additional responsibilities, increase their hours, and earn higher pay within our agency. Our goal is to bring in the right person, provide training, and help them grow into a larger role over time.

The part-time schedule can be arranged around school, family responsibilities, or another job while still meeting the needs of the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers by phone, text, email, and in person.
• Respond to basic customer questions and direct insurance-related questions to a licensed team member.
• Schedule appointments and assist with customer follow-up.
• Help collect information and documents needed for policy service and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and completed tasks.
• Assist with general office, administrative, and customer service responsibilities.
• Support licensed team members with customer outreach and account follow-up.
• Learn agency systems, procedures, and insurance terminology.
• Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments.
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, text, email, and in person.
• Willing to learn and accept coaching.
• Customer service, office, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Interest in professional growth and taking on additional responsibility.
