Electrical Engineer The Opportunity: Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. You Have: 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment Experience in the specialized, high-assigned field of facilities electrical power systems, including low, medium, and high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, commercial facility electrical distribution systems, emergency and standby power systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and short circuit and protective device coordination Experience with commercial and industrial power systems, mechanical HVAC systems, fire protection, and construction Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent Ability to manage commercial facility electrical design and construction projects Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes Ability to work with minimal oversight Ability to review and perform engineering calculations Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Nice If You Have: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineering License, EIT, or FE Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
