Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and lead the charge in managing our warehouse operations with energy and precision! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, ensure seamless inventory control, and drive process improvements that elevate efficiency.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in active receiving and shipping of inventory.
- Oversee inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders for e-commerce and 3PL clients.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and workflow optimization.
- Operate and oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, through regular training and adherence checks.
- Schedule staffing needs based on customer demand and drive labor efficiency to reduce overtime pay.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with strong leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 platform is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments involving warehouse experience and supervisor responsibilities.
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklifts, heavy lifting equipment, and materials handling tools.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance.
- Prior experience working within e-commerce or 3PL logistics environments is a plus.
