Job Description

Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule: 3x12, Days (07:00–19:30)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
Travel experience required
Must be able to circulate for C-sections
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (NCC EFM accepted instead of AWHONN Intermediate)
Preferred: AWHONN Advanced
Experience in large hospital settings is highly preferred
Charting system experience: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide high-risk antepartum care and neonatal support
Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
Administer medications, including MgSO4 therapy and insulin drips
Assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries and perform sterile vaginal exams
Circulate for C-sections, cerclage, and D&C procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation: 72 hours
All required skills and certifications must be met
References required: 2 covering previous 1 year within the last 3 years
Must disclose any license or background issues at the time of submission
No first-time travelers accepted
Must have a valid state license in hand
