Position Summary The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The associate counts and inspects product, and notifies leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. They operate all equipment safely and efficiently, and perform all duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking Responsibilities Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders and stage in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products according to client requirements. Process all picking functions per Standard Operating Procedures. Quality Control Responsibilities Use documentation to verify all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly. Report any damages or discrepancies and ensure quality standards are met. Perform staging, packaging, shrinking, and labeling as required. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety. Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in warehouse security. Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards. Equipment Operation Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods. Maintain equipment and report problems promptly. Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Minimum Required Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months (mild to moderate). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations None. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Computer Skills None. Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products. Other Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance. Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment. Preferred Qualifications 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment. Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasionally: Handling/Fingering, Sitting. Frequently: Bending. Constantly: Walking and Standing. Ability to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull 21-50 pounds; Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
