Direct Support Professional

Job Overview Direct Support Professional (DSP) – work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in a day program. Provide care, coaching, skill development and ensure their safety. Location Woodbury, New Jersey. Salary Starting at $20.42 per hour, increasing with education and experience. Responsibilities Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program. Supervise, coach, and help individuals achieve daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Plan, implement, and document programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs. Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings. Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid non‑provisional driver’s license. 18 years of age or older. Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. Empathetic with a team‑based approach to care.
