Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician needed for a continuity‑focused, panel‑based practice combining outpatient primary care with inpatient rounding at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri.

Role Purpose

Provide professional medical services within the specialty, including direct patient care, completion of medical records, MyChart consultations, inbox management, patient education, and collaboration with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient panel medical care, including arranging inpatient hospital care or coordinating with hospitalists.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent outcomes at BJC clinic locations and outreach sites.
• Perform and document medical histories and physicals per hospital bylaw requirements.
• Arrange clinic and inpatient call coverage in accordance with BJC policies and medical staff bylaws.
• Collaborate with and teach advanced practice providers, support staff, or care team members assigned to the patient panel.
• Maintain a state of constant alertness for a safety‑sensitive position.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine (MD/DO)
• Less than 2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified, and licensed physician

Preferred Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience
