Housekeeping (Assisted Living)Sundale Senior Living offers assisted living to seniors. Our goal is to bridge the gap between independent living and standalone assisted living solutions for seniors.As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for providing residents with a service that exceeds their expectations, at all times. Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with the aging processes.What truly matters:Must enjoy working with seniors by providing empathy, compassion, kindness, and patienceAbility to respond promptly to resident needsAbility to remain calm in a variety of situations and use sound judgmentAbility to work flexible hours as needed. Must be available to work weekends and holidaysHave the above? Honestly, you'll do great, and we can train everything else.What you'll be responsible for:Performs general cleaning assignments in resident apartments, hallways, & common areasWash, dry, fold, and store linens and other laundry of the community and residentsInform the supervisor of any resident issues or concernsKeep housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working orderStrive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and achievement of safe working practicesMaintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuumingFollow daily and weekly cleaning schedulesPay Rate and Benefits:Hourly rate is $11 an hour depending on experience.
