Position Summary:

As a Fire Service Sales Representative, you'll build relationships with new and existing customers, helping them protect their people and property through fire alarm monitoring and inspection services. Schedule: M-F, 7:30am – 4:30pm PST (may vary based on appointments)

Work Setting: Hybrid/Onsite

Pay: $50,000 - $175,300 annually (base pay + commissions)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• Acquires new monitoring contracts and fire alarm inspections contracts.
• Creates and implements a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company.
• Travels to customer sites and conducts site surveys, meetings and presentations.
• Communicates with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversees all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
• Coordinates with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Performs duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintains receipts for all job-related expenses and submit them to accounting.

Education and/or Experience:

• College education and/or equivalent industry experience preferred
• Two to five years sales experience – outside sales preferred
• Experience working with contractors on bidding jobs required and with jurisdictional agencies on meeting code requirements preferred.
• Experience in team selling and working in interdisciplinary teams desirable.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

• Intermediate MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong computer skills

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time occasionally; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; Uses fingers, hands, arms when working with mouse, keyboard, monitors; possible use of headset while on calls.
