Float Registered Nurse -Specialized, Outpatient Services, FT, 7P-7:30A (Evening)

Description The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Compensation for this position begins at $38.87 to $50.53 / hour depending on experience plus an additional $6 / hour float differential. This position will float between various Emergency Departments in Miami-Dade from Cutler Bay to Miami Lakes. Qualifications Associates. Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate. Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Basic Life Support. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Additional Qualifications Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing. RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN. RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) with an Associate's degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree. RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice. As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card).
