Overview Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) - Transplant Surgery (2600012R) Job Description Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) - Transplant Surgery - (2600012R) Responsibilities Provide nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients\' health care problems. Rounding inpatient for a busy transplant hepatology service seeing transplant and non-transplant hepatology patients. Maintain an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Perform duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. Adult Gerontology Acute Care or Acute Care board certification required for APRNs. Transplant surgery experience preferred.
