Operation Get Fit is seeking a high-energy, Certified Personal Trainer to lead one-on-one and small-group training sessions that build muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and stamina. This role is centered on personal training; experience with group exercise instruction is a valuable plus but not the focus of the position.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, a motivating coaching style, and the ability to connect with clients of varying ages and fitness levels.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proper exercise form and technique so clients can follow along safely and effectively
• Ensure client safety at all times during sessions
• Observe clients during workouts and provide real-time advice, corrections, and guidance
• Build rapport with clients through fun, engaging, and motivating session sequencing
• Design and adapt training approaches for clients across a variety of ages and fitness levels

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer
• Excellent knowledge of proper fitness equipment use
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• High School Diploma required; degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a cell phone
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, general liability insurance
• Must be willing to audition as part of the hiring process

• National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
• Training and Wellness Certification Commission
• 200-Hour Certified Yoga Alliance (personal training and/or group fitness instructing)
• YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise Certification

Group exercise certification is a plus. Other certifications may be considered.
