Travel Respiratory Therapist (7P–7A)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Deliver care across a facility offering cardiac services and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Work night shift hours in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of more than 1,200 healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all facility protocols, department standards, and required certification guidelines
• Maintain compliance with all traveler requirements per the applicable checklist prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Must hold active Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification — all required certifications must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• Client reserves the right to require additional certifications not listed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with cardiac care or neurosurgery patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, multi-specialty environment
