Position Overview

• Carrying out an array of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Collaborating closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide superior quality diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Documenting procedures and managing patient records in the electronic medical system with precision
• Keeping up with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
