Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 08:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Monitor site activity and help deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and following post instructions. Support transportation‑related operations by observing traffic flow, directing individuals to authorized areas, and/or assisting with entry and exit procedures in accordance with site protocols. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
