Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Location: St. Cloud, MN Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Full-Time Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM


Position Overview


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, picked, staged, and prepared for shipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders according to established procedures.
• Handle, stage, store, and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate material handling equipment and radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment.
• Inspect products for damage and ensure outbound shipments meet quality standards.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory control, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Support warehouse organization and slot management initiatives to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse and administrative teams to support efficient operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Perform additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of six months of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management technology preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment, approximately 36°F , with some areas as cold as -5°F .
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require.
