Surety Territory Manager

Sr. Contract Surety Underwriter
Our client is an A rated carrier who has been writing Contract Surety business for 10+ years and during that time they have experienced substantial growth not only in the amount of premium written, but also in increased surety capacity allowing them to grow with their clients as they write larger jobs and larger programs.
Now they are looking to grow geographically and expand their Contract Surety offering to the Pacific Northwest.
We are looking for a Sr. Contract Surety Underwriter in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR to join their team and work on a remote basis.
What you can expect in the role
- You will build a brand new territory from scratch
- You will write small to mid-size contract business
- You will be responsible for charting a new path within the organization, and ultimately be given the opportunity to build a team under you as the region grows & certain metrics are achieved
- Work with seasoned veterans in the contract surety space
- Be a part of a surety that has grown 25% YOY and has invested heavily in their systems allowing them to operate more efficiently and in a manner that has a direct impact to their agency partners and clients.
