Description
  • Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and elder demographics utilizing standardized measures and observational strategies.
  • Craft customized treatment plans that cater to immediate and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
  • Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to develop integrated care plans.
  • Provide training and education to patients and their families to promote progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Engage with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions on an as-needed basis, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Uphold meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Education
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to ASHA certification if applicable.
Certifications
  • Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for a broad range of ages, with an in-depth understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
