Hematology/Oncology - Physician – Elmhurst Hospital Center (NYC Health + Hospitals / Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated) We invite applications for a full‑time Hematologist and/or Oncologist to join as faculty. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. We seek a motivated physician to serve an urban underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is accessible by public transportation and car from New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island. Responsibilities Chemotherapy infusion, consultations, teaching of residents and medical students, and participation in clinical research. Provide care in both Hematology and Oncology, comfortable treating hematologic malignancies and coagulation disorders. Deliver direct clinical care in in‑patient and outpatient settings for patients under the Department of Medicine’s Hematology and Oncology Services. Qualifications MD degree Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number Compensation We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience, and qualifications, plus a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from $330,000 to $350,000 FTE, annualized, including on‑call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
