Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Correctional Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/31/2026 Duration: 25 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Correctional Facility Nurse Job Details: 24 hours per week for 26 weeks Conduct sick call and respond to medical emergencies Collect and respond to health service requests from units Triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule See sick call patients and manage multiple follow-up appointments from provider referrals and RN follow-ups Work as a nurse clinician for general population and restricted housing Provide long-term care for patients housed inpatient in HSU sick cells, illness recovery, or post-operative care Temporarily perform lab duties until a Medical Assistant is hired and trained Required certifications: CPR required at time of submittal 1098D and 1098N required upon submittal Teams interviews will be conducted Facility: This correctional institution operates a Health Services Unit (HSU) that provides comprehensive medical care to the incarcerated population.
