This position will work on Healthcare, Higher Ed, Aviation, Adaptive Reuse, and seismic retrofit projects. The position works under direct supervision, performs daily estimating and planning activities and disseminates information applicable to the planning efforts. The Senior Preconstruction Engineer must be able to meet critical deadlines, accurately obtain quantities for building components, proactively communicate and build relationships with subcontractors, and have the ability to work as part of a team.Senior Preconstruction Engineer Required Qualifications:3+ years full time relevant industry experience3+ years of experience in a precon or estimating position with a general contractor or trade partner1+ year demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software applicationsBachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experienceCurrently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.
