RN Clinic - Urology - Torrey Pines

Description Full‑time, benefited RN position in the Urology Department at Scripps Clinic – Torrey Pines (La Jolla). Works Monday–Friday 0800–1700; shifts may run later. May be required to commute to other sites as needed. Responsibilities Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice – this includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures and messages, emergency protocols, and medication administration. Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Handling patient communication, including making calls to provide information, follow up on care, responding to messages, and triaging. Maintaining sterility during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols. Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: ADN or Nursing Diploma. Required Certification/Registration: CA RN license, American Heart Association BLS. Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: BSN; one year outpatient RN experience; previous Urology experience; experience placing Foley catheters; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to changing patient needs. Compensation Minimum Rate: $51.66 USD Maximum Rate: $74.92 USD In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
