Purpose/DescriptionThe Human Resource Assistant will process payroll and personnel information in a timely manner while adhering to Civil Services Commission rule and regulations and collective bargaining agreements and support clerical functions, as needed.Required TasksEntering payroll actions into OracleProcessing employment verificationsFiling paperwork in employment filesUpdating outside employment informationUpdating employee personal informationPerforming personnel file reviews and processing personnel file copy requestsAssisting in various projectsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSExperience/Education RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years of clerical experienceSix (6) months of experience processing payrollThe Charter County of WayneThe Charter County of Wayne is Michigan's largest county.
