Make a difference in a student’s daily life by providing personalized nursing care at a welcoming early childhood center located near Hilton Head Island, SC. This contracted 1:1 LPN opportunity centers on supporting a 3-year-old student requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support throughout the school day in a nurturing educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active LPN license in South Carolina (or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric patients requiring trach and vent care
• Previous school-based nursing or similar pediatric care experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous, individualized nursing care to a young student, including trach and ventilator management
• Monitor the student’s health status and respond promptly to medical needs or emergencies
• Collaborate closely with classroom staff, therapists, and families to support the student’s participation in daily activities
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in line with nursing and school policies
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for the student’s learning and well-being

Details:

• Contract role; start date as soon as possible
• Assignment runs through May 25, 2027, offering stability over multiple academic years
• 15 hours per week; schedule aligns with the student’s school day
