Pay: $23 per hourJob description:Job OverviewBrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one home health care to clients in their own homes.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will follow an RN-developed care plan and deliver safe, dignified, and high-quality care.As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home health, you will support clients with daily needs, mobility, safety, and emotional well-being.The role requires a dependable and professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who can work independently while communicating effectively with the clinical team.This position is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who values flexibility, meaningful work, and building trusted relationships with clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide ADL assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene.Assist with safe transfers and mobility using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, slide boards, etc.Monitor and report changes in condition to the supervising RN immediately.Offer medication reminders as directed in the care plan (no med administration).Provide specialized in-home care for clients with:Dementia / Alzheimer'sDevelopmental disabilitiesChronic illnessMemory care needsMaintain infection control standards and proper PPE use.Document care tasks and observations using BrightStar's mobile EMR/app.Follow the RN-created care plan and communicate updates promptly.Maintain a safe, clean environment within the client's home.Provide companionship, emotional support, and promote client independence.Protect client confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations.Experience & RequirementsActive California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.BLS/CPR preferred.Prior home health CNA or in-home care experience strongly preferred.Experience with seniors, dementia clients, or individuals with disabilities is a plus.Ability to work independently in client homes and manage time effectively.Comfort using mobile apps for charting (training provided).Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required).Why Work With BrightStar Care?RN oversight + clinical supportFlexible scheduling (day, evening, overnight)Supportive and professional team environmentOne-on-one care that lets you make a real impactGrowth opportunities within a leading home health organizationJob Type: Part-timeWork Location: In personAuthorization to work in the US and a background check is required if an offer is made.
