Location:1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York New YorkJob SummaryThe Senior FX Sales Representative works within Capital Markets and is responsible for driving foreign exchange sales revenue through high-quality client servicing, proactive business development, strong internal partnerships, and delivering on the full suite of KeyBank FX products.Essential FunctionsDemonstrate mastery of foreign exchange markets and products (including spot, forward, swaps, options, and cross-currency swaps)Provide clients with consultative FX risk management and payment solutions, including analytics, strategy, policy, hedging programs, hedge accounting, and transactional FXDirect effective onboarding, including documentation, credit lines, and platform setupsDeliver excellence in customer service and trade executionEmploy a strategic approach to business development using a structured sales management processMaintain a quality FX pipeline in SalesforceOrganize and conduct client education and entertainment eventsBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and product partnersContribute to a team-oriented culture and uphold Key’s valuesInvest in personal continuous learning and developmentMentor and coach junior sales representativesDemonstrate strong comprehension of risk management in the business and industry contextAdhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without noticeComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)Work Experience5+ years of experience as a Corporate FX Sales Representative (required)Experience with FX technology and trading platforms (preferred)Licenses and CertificationsNFA Associated Person Certification within 90 Days (required)Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) CFA (preferred)SkillsDeep understanding of FX products (spot, forward, swaps, options) and market dynamics.Proven interpersonal and technical skills in managing and growing client relationships through strategic account management and exceptional service. Uses strategic thinking to align with client goals, drive engagement, and build lasting partnerships.Skilled in developing and executing sales plans, managing pipelines (e.g., Salesforce), and consistently achieving revenue targets. Strong in business development, from prospecting to closing new business.Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and advising on FX risk, including balance sheet and cash flow hedging strategies.Proficient at conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to support client recommendations and internal decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication for client presentations, internal collaboration, and documentation.Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.Skilled with FX trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools like Salesforce.Understanding of financial regulations, hedge accounting (US GAAP), and compliance with industry standards.Commitment to staying current with market trends, regulatory changes, and professional development.Core CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key’s Values and abide by Key’s Code of Conduct.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.Driving RequirementsAbility to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.Work Location CategoryHybrid (Sales)COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $116,000.00 - $216,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
