Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for production equipment and facility systems.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (4x10 Schedule)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliability of CNC machinery, production equipment, and facility systems. This role is responsible for leading maintenance efforts, minimizing downtime, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for CNC machines and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Manage the repair and maintenance of CNC mills, lathes, and related manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to support production goals
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintenance standards

CNC & Equipment Maintenance

• Inspect, maintain, and repair CNC controls, motors, drives, and tooling systems
• Assist with machine setup, calibration, alignment, and optimization
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and electrical components, including wiring and sensors
• Coordinate with operators, supervisors, and management to resolve equipment performance issues
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability

Building & Facility Maintenance

• Oversee facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and structural components
• Manage general repairs, including electrical work, welding, and fabrication projects
• Ensure all building systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Coordinate facility maintenance projects and vendor services as needed
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and facility maintenance standards

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, mills, lathes, and manufacturing equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
