ABOUT THE ROLE

The General Manager is the face of Tatte in our communities and to our guests, and owns every part of café operations. We're looking for leaders who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced environments, and can inspire, develop, and lead strong teams while driving operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop hourly and management teams; hire, coach, and hold accountable to standards
• Own café P&L: optimize labor and food costs, forecast accurately, and deliver top-line growth
• Ensure operational and brand excellence across food safety, quality, speed, and seamless hospitality
• Build local community presence and represent Tatte's values in every interaction
• Partner with the District Manager, Culinary, HR, Training, and Marketing to execute initiatives and rollouts
• Create and manage staffing plans, labor deployment, and scheduling to support operational and financial goals
• Conduct performance reviews and implement corrective action when necessary
• Make hiring, promotion, transfer, discipline, and termination recommendations
• Lead café-level communication and change management initiatives
• Oversee all café administrative responsibilities
• Perform additional related duties assigned to support smooth and efficient café operations

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager, preferably within high-volume, full-service, or polished fast-casual restaurant environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively within fast-paced and evolving environments
• Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergencies depending on business needs
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts and be able to stand for extended periods
• Ability to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver certifications

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive Pay: $77,000 – $108,000 annually, depending on experience
