About Smart Chemical Services
Smart Chemical Services provides chemical and technical services to the energy industry across the U.S. We develop, manufacture, and distribute oilfield chemicals, and we provide related logistics and analytical services. Our products include stimulation chemicals, frac additives, and specialty chemicals for production, water treatment, fuel additives, and other oilfield applications.
The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in the Big Lake, TX area. In this role, you’ll handle chemical treatment of oil wells, troubleshoot problems, and maintain equipment in the field. You’ll work directly with customers to make sure they get high-quality products and service, and you’ll do the work safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out daily chemical treatment of oil wells accurately and on schedule
- Troubleshoot treatment and equipment issues in the field
- Maintain treatment equipment so it stays in good working condition
- Keep inventory, delivery logs, and documentation accurate and up to date
- Answer customer questions and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Use your knowledge of chemical products, applications, and well equipment to meet customer needs
- Promote a safe work environment and follow all company and industry safety standards
What You’ll Need
- 2–4 years of experience in oil and gas operations, including at least 2 years in oilfield chemical treatment
- Hands-on experience working with oil and gas wells
- Experience operating oil and gas field equipment
- Understanding of basic chemical properties and batch treatment processes
- Basic math and computer skills
