Key Duties

  • The candidate is a self-starter and relationship builder supporting an integrated team to ensure successful program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system.
  • This position has shared responsibility for baseline management and control and assisting in variance analysis.
  • Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of schedules. Candidate will integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on existing and future plans.
  • Candidate will develop knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
  • Position interacts across functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production.
  • This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of planning products and practices and will be instrumental in the remediation activities upon identification of gaps.

Primary Tools Used: Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool, Milestones Professional, Microsoft Excel

This position is in Marietta, GA. Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Experiences with networked schedules
  • Experiences delivering briefings to team members and project teams
  • Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
  • Bachelors degree

Desired Skills

  • Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration
  • Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology
  • Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
