The Senior Software Engineer - Business Intelligence is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting scalable business intelligence solutions, ETL pipelines, enterprise reporting platforms, and analytics environments. This role provides technical leadership across business intelligence initiatives by contributing to data architecture, reporting optimization, performance tuning, and enterprise analytics solutions while ensuring data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. The position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, developers, and technical leadership to deliver scalable and reliable business intelligence capabilities and mentor junior team members. Collaborate with business, analytics, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting and analytics solutions. Develop and maintain data models, SQL scripts, stored procedures, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Build, optimize, and support ETL pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting, data quality, performance, and integration issues. Validate reporting logic, data transformations, and reporting accuracy. Perform performance tuning for SQL queries, stored procedures, ETL workflows, and reporting platforms. Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations aligned with business objectives. Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, data mappings, and operational procedures. Participate in code reviews and enforce development, reporting, and data governance standards. Mentor junior developers through technical guidance and knowledge-sharing activities. Support Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project execution. Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to support business intelligence initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting quality, analytics performance, and operational efficiency. Job-related Experience Requires at least 5 years of experience in business intelligence development, software engineering, data engineering, enterprise reporting, or analytics environments.
