Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on the latest therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to manage pain and enhance mobility.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic equipment and technology to support rehabilitation efforts and track patient progress.
• Document patient treatments, outcomes, and any changes in their condition, ensuring communication with other healthcare team members.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-care strategies, and the use of assistive devices to maximize independence.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment strategies.
• Stay current with industry developments through professional networking, educational workshops, and peer-reviewed literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role serves a diverse patient population, including children and adults afflicted by various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. The Senior Physical Therapist will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their functional abilities and improve their quality of life by delivering custom-tailored treatment approaches that address their specific challenges and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills crucial for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, particularly in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Experience with treatment modalities such as myofascial release, therapeutic exercise, and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor new graduates in clinical practice is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a generous benefits package that includes:
