OB/GYN Physician Outpatient Prenatal Care & Gynecology
True Health NY is seeking a dependable, clinically strong and patient-centered OB/GYN physician to join our Nassau County women's-health team.
The physician will work under a defined recurring schedule divided between our Great Neck and Williston Park clinics. This is a structured two-site Nassau County positionnot an open-ended float role across all True Health NY locations.
The successful physician will provide comprehensive outpatient prenatal and gynecologic care, build and maintain stable patient panels, perform common office procedures and ensure timely follow-through on results, referrals and patient concerns.
Both Nassau County clinics provide integrated access to OB/GYN, women's-health clinicians, ultrasound, diagnostic services and centralized administrative support.
This position is primarily outpatient. Routine labor-and-delivery call is not required under the current position structure. The physician will coordinate obstetric care with True Health NY's separately established laborist and hospital coverage model through written clinical handoff protocols.
Candidates interested in an expanded role involving hospital privileges, deliveries, gynecologic surgery or additional obstetric responsibilities may discuss that scope separately.
The physician will work at:
Great Neck Clinic 833 Northern Boulevard, Suite 100 Great Neck, New York 11021
Williston Park Clinic 2 Hillside Avenue, Suite G Williston Park, New York 11596
The expected starting schedule will generally include three clinical days at one Nassau County clinic and two clinical days at the other. The exact recurring schedule will be confirmed before employment begins.
Routine coverage in Brooklyn or Fresh Meadows is not part of this position.

Fixed Nassau County schedule
Great Neck and Williston Park locations only
No routine labor-and-delivery call under the current structure
Established women's-health and prenatal patient demand
Opportunity to build long-term patient panels

Procedure-ready outpatient clinics
Access to ultrasound and diagnostic services
Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians and women's-health advanced-practice clinicians

Respond appropriately to communications from laborists, hospitals and consulting clinicians.
Review relevant hospital, delivery and discharge records.
Provide timely postpartum follow-up.
Maintain continuity between outpatient prenatal care, hospital care and postpartum recovery.
Because the position serves two Nassau County clinics, the physician will be expected to:
Maintain a consistent and predictable schedule at each location.
Avoid unnecessary movement of established patients between locations.
Support continuity by scheduling follow-up visits at the patient's preferred or usual clinic whenever practical.
Complete all clinical tasks regardless of which Nassau clinic generated the encounter.
Maintain one integrated electronic inbox and results workflow.
Coordinate cross-coverage with the Nassau County physician and advanced-practice team.
Communicate schedule changes in advance.
Avoid routine same-day travel between the two clinics unless operationally necessary and prearranged.
The physician will be expected to:
Complete encounter documentation accurately and within established practice timeframes.
Enter required orders and charge-support information promptly.
Review and act on laboratory, imaging, ultrasound and pathology findings.
Communicate clinically significant results clearly and promptly.
Respond appropriately to patient messages, refill requests and clinical escalations.
Document referrals, follow-up instructions and care plans clearly.
Maintain an organized clinical inbox without a persistent unresolved backlog.
Ensure appropriate handoff and cross-coverage when unavailable.
Close clinical care loops involving abnormal findings, referrals and follow-up testing.
Comply with clinical, regulatory, payer and organizational requirements.
The physician will:
Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, women's-health nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwives, sonographers, medical assistants and administrative staff.
Provide appropriate clinical guidance to advanced-practice clinicians and staff within applicable law, credentialing and organizational policy.
Promote respectful and effective teamwork across both Nassau County clinics.
Participate in peer review, quality improvement, patient-safety and clinical-policy initiatives.
Help develop efficient workflows that improve access without compromising safety or quality.
Support a culture of accountability, responsiveness and patient-centered care.
Represent True Health NY professionally in the Nassau County community.
