About the Position

Job Opportunity – Pediatric Float ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 2-3:1. Holiday rotation includes either Thanksgiving or Christmas based on facility need.

Highlights:

• Float position serving multiple pediatric intensive care environments including PICU, NICU, TDICU, CICU, and general/specialty care areas as needed
• Assignment includes rotation between two campus locations within the metro area
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized for charting
• Missed shifts must be made up to maintain assignment continuity
• Nicotine-free facility with drug screening requirement; annual flu vaccine mandatory with no exceptions

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CICU and NICU settings required
• PICU experience also required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
• Compliance with nicotine-free workplace policy and mandatory flu vaccination
