Nursing Faculty, Medical-Surgical, 10-month - Catonsville Campus

CCBC Catonsville

This is a 10‑month full‑time faculty position for the Catonsville Campus . Faculty members are responsible for teaching both didactic and clinical instruction in the Associate Degree Nursing Program, with a focus on Medical‑Surgical Nursing. Responsibilities include traditional face‑to‑face instruction in both day and evening programs, participation in committees, student advising, nursing program initiatives, and college community activities. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required. A Master’s degree in nursing is preferred, and recent clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical background is highly desirable.

Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale. Responsibilities Provide didactic and clinical instruction in Medical‑Surgical Nursing. Coordinate classes in Medical‑Surgical Nursing. Coordinate adjunct faculty assigned to Medical‑Surgical courses. Conduct simulated Medical‑Surgical experiences. Participate in Nursing Program Committees as assigned.
