Position: Welder Fitter
Pay: $24.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: New Albany, IN

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Welder Fitter to start IMMEDIATELY at $24/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Measure, cut, and fit metal components using torches, saws, grinders, and clamps
Set up welding equipment and perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes
Inspect welded components for quality and compliance with standards
Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Perform layout work and tack welding in preparation for final welds
Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments
Follow all safety guidelines and keep a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or welding certification preferred
Proven experience as a welder fitter or similar role
Proficient in reading blueprints and measuring tools
Strong knowledge of welding methods (MIG, TIG, Stick)
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
Familiarity with safety standards in fabrication settings
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic

Skills:

TIG and Stick welding
MIG welding techniques
Blueprint reading and layout work
Use of torches, saws, grinders, and clamps
Welding equipment setup and operation
Quality inspection and safety compliance
