Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients by creating a safe, trusting, and respectful environment.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose and formulate individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique circumstances and preferences.
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, providing evidence-based interventions to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and trauma.
  • Adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations of client progress, ensuring that therapy remains responsive to the evolving needs of the patient.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and specialists to coordinate care, providing patients with comprehensive resources and referrals for additional support.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on evidence-based practices and advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse array of individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care and tailoring approaches to respect their unique needs and experiences. This role is critical in helping clients navigate their journeys toward improved mental health and fulfilling relationships.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
  • Have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and theoretical knowledge in therapy, including familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
  • Exhibit excellent communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and rapport-building with clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in addiction counseling and a strong understanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques pertinent to family and relationship dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
