Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Corvallis, Oregon. This unit specializes in providing direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but present with an elevated risk for instability, requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.

The successful candidate will utilize advanced clinical knowledge and experience to deliver comprehensive care within a dynamic telemetry setting, focusing on continuous patient assessment, intervention, and stabilization to prevent further deterioration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for acutely ill, moderately stable patients in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
• Perform advanced patient monitoring, assessments, and interventions to manage patient conditions and prevent instability.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding appropriately to changes in patient telemetry.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Basic EKG interpretation experience.
