Center Support Specialist

ABS Kids is looking for a Center Support Specialist to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. The Center Support Specialist is the first face for clients that enter the clinical offices and assists employees in a variety of ways. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the regional administration team and providers. This role is subject to change as we reorganize internal functions and requires flexibility and comfort with change. Compensation and Benefits $18–$19/hour – based on qualifications Full benefits – typical hours M–F 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Casual work environment Opportunities for advancement Reception Responsibilities Greet clients and ensure forms are complete, insurance cards uploaded, and a picture of the client is on file. Make reminder calls one week prior to and the day before scheduled appointments. Review accounts to identify missing documents and obtain required information. Reschedule cancellations or no‑call/no‑shows for assessments. Check inventory (office supplies, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, clinical requests) weekly. Fill out the order request form each week. Communicate needs to the office manager in an emergency situation. Tidy lobby and all other areas of the ABA Therapy Center. Mail paper packets to clients. Answer calls and emails from clients and staff. Put up office supplies and mark the log as received when items arrive. Assist providers with any questions or office needs. Ensure mail is distributed daily. Scheduling Responsibilities Modify/adjust Behavior Technician schedules when clients cancel. Communicate with supervising Behavior Analyst about schedule changes. Track and administer the cancellation policy. Work with BTs when they need to cancel due to illness and reschedule clients. Ensure BTs submit PTO in the payroll system. Run weekly reports to monitor call‑outs by Behavior Technicians. Run daily unconverted appointments audit reports.Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations and company policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of medical or administrative office experience. Professional and excellent communication skills. High attention to detail.
