Job Summary:As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.Job Description:Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatrician to join their collegial team, meeting patients' medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care.Join a team seven of physicians at Kennebec Pediatrics along with a full complement of excellent nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care from infancy to young adulthood.Highlights of the position include, but are not limited to:a schedule consisting of 32 clinical hours and the benefit of 8 hours of dedicated, administrative time each week.no evening clinic hours.no inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department or newborn nursery coverage.after-hours on call service that begins at 4:50pm - 7:45am on weekdays and weekend call service from 2:00pm - 9:00pm.teaching opportunities for third year medical students from the University of New England.an opportunity to work as a per diem pediatric hospitalist if desired, although not required.In addition to joining a thriving practice and traditional employment benefits, enjoy the following:Generous Time Away: At MaineGeneral, we recognize the importance of time for rest and rejuvenation.
