Chemist II

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Chemist II with our medical device client in Mounds View, MN. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description
Responsibilities:

• Conducts exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products; conceives, organizes, promotes, and executes ideas and plans to increase chemistry's role in and contribution to the discovery and chemical approaches to meet exploratory objectives in product discovery.
• Develops research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for developing and evaluating new or improved products, synthetic methods, processes, and analytical and physical testing techniques.
• Recommends utilization of the results or changes in the scope of work or termination of projects.

Must Have:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry education
• Laboratory experience
• Pharma or combination device
• Regulated industry experience

Nice to Have:

• 17025 lab experience
• Adhesion
• Materials Science
• Polymers
