Freeman Postdoctoral Research Fellow

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Gordon Freeman in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. The lab focuses on costimulatory and coinhibitory pathways, particularly the PD‑L1/PD‑1 and HHLA2/KIR3DL3 pathways. Responsibilities Examine the role of PD‑1 and other coinhibitory pathways in immune responses and therapeutic synergies of coinhibitory blockade for anti‑tumor immunity. Conduct research using mouse tumor models, T cells, antigen‑presenting cells, cell culture, immunological techniques, multicolor flow cytometry, and single‑cell RNA analysis. Qualifications Ph.D. and/or M.D. required. Self‑starter, strong work ethic, intensely curious and passionate about discovery. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Background in immunology and mouse tumor models. Experience with T cells, antigen‑presenting cells, cell culture, immunological techniques, multicolor flow cytometry, and single‑cell RNA analysis. Benefits Pay range: $72,000.00 - $76,385.00. The hiring range is based on market pay structures; individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
