About the Role
The Company is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance to lead and manage its accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through growth, change, and system enhancements, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a fast-moving environment, championing process improvement, and developing high-performing teams. Key responsibilities for the Director of Finance include leading and managing the accounting and finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, and partnering with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic guidance. The role also involves leading external audit processes, driving process improvements, and supporting ERP implementation and system optimization initiatives. The candidate should have a CPA, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for those with 5 years of direct team management experience and a demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and system implementations. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills are essential, as is a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
