Manufacturing Engineer IV

$58-$60 per hour Greenville, SC Contract Duration: 12 months Job Description Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software, including multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and/or EDM. Program 3, 4, or 5-axis machines including VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, and EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole). Work on Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls. Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor using Vericut. Have experience with high-level machine tool controls such as subroutine (macro), Renishaw probing routine, variable-based programming, and CLM (closed-loop machining). Strong problem-solving and organization skills, with above-average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry. Experience machining high-temperature superalloys found in high-temperature gas turbine or aerospace components. Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineers and offer operator, programmer, and ME training as required. Provide daily operator support for CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a matrixed organization. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change when appropriate.
