Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Care for newborns immediately following vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Assist with and monitor procedures including vaginal deliveries, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Maintain accurate documentation using CPN and Meditach systems
• Adhere to unit floating policy; travelers are expected to float first as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification (Intermediate level required; Advanced not accepted) or CEFM certification
• Ability to work 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per scheduling period
• Compliance with dress code: Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray scrubs (not provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with shared decision-making practices in a patient-centered care environment
• Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation systems
• Experience working in a high-volume Women's and Children's unit setting
