Schedule: Flexible shift options available – prefer 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with flexibility for 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Available as 4x10 or 3x12 schedules.

Requirements:

• Active RN License in the state of Texas or Compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• PALS certification required (AHA only)
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care utilizing the full nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
