Gastroenterology Opportunity Urbana, Illinois | $700K Base + Uncapped RVUs

Practice Overview

Hospital-based GI service with 10-bed procedure suite and local ASC access
Approximately 80% procedural focus with 10-12 cases per half day
Swing-room scheduling is designed to maximize efficiency and throughput
The GI hospitalist team covers the majority of annual call
Infrastructure in place for IBD, motility, and fellowship involvement

Schedule

Procedural-heavy model wrapping most days by late afternoon
Shared call covering inpatient consults and ED needs
Predictable workflow with centralized clinic, procedure, and recovery space
Built-in referral volume supporting consistent case flow

Compensation & Benefits

$700,000 guaranteed base salary
Production incentives with established potential exceeding $1 million
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance

Candidate Profile

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Comfortable in a high-volume, hospital-based environment
Interest in general GI or subspecialty focus, such as IBD or motility
